Colombia – Pablo Escobar’s legacy

Nearly 30 years after Pablo Escobar’s death, Colombia seems to keep quiet about its dark past. Although other cartels filled the gap, it’s nearly invisible for tourists.

My personal highlights were Cartagena, especially the street art in Getsemaní, the desert in La Guajira, the picturesque town of Barichara, a 3-day hike in the Páramo del Sol - far off the beaten path and the Tatacoa desert.
